Classic New England inframe kitchen with Verde Savanna granite worktops

These photos show the work in progress stage of this project, we were working alongside the customer’s own builders, electricians and plumbers to create this amazing classic inframe kitchen with Verde Savanna granite worktops.

The attention to detail is apparent throughout including the intricate scribe on the curved cornice. The soft curves within the design ensures the flow around the kitchen even though there are several entry areas and an island to negotiate.

We love the pocket door breakfast station which is also framed by curved wall units but with plenty of storage being provided below with the Oak drawer box pannier drawer units.

"19 years ago we moved to Devon and asked the former owners who they would use for a new kitchen – de Viell’s of Exeter was there only reply.

Since then we have had 2 new kitchens/utility rooms (we got bored with the first one after 12 years), 4 fully fitted bedrooms’ a fully fitted bathroom and an en-suite.

De Viell’s have recently completed the latest project following an incident in the kitchen which has involved changing all the worktops and back splashes as well as sink and dishwasher. Not an easy job as it meant not damaging the existing units, an exercise they carried out to perfection. By changing the colours we now have what appears to be a brand new kitchen.

We have always been extremely pleased with all the works undertaken by this company and will not hesitate to use them in the future or recommend them.

It is perhaps unusual for an organisation to survive so long in these days, but how many can also boast being able to send the same fitter as 19 years ago!

"On recommendation visited the De Viell show room. First impressions count, and certainly this was the case on entering the showroom. Organising a survey and having an idea of what we required was swiftly presented to us in the following few days after our initial visit. After we made a few alterations to the design layout, chose the kitchen we wanted, and final drawings and plans were received, we ordered the kitchen. The installation date was set, and the installation team arrived on the date set, and at the time quoted.
The installation was carried out by an excellent fitter, highly experienced and very helpful. The installation was completed within the time stated. De Viell's organised time allowance for floor covering and returned on the date specified to put the final touches in place for the completion of the installation.

"We wanted to upgrade our apartment, which we had owned for some years whilst living in tied accommodation. It was tired, and in need of modernisation, as well as making suitable for our permanent residence in retirement. We got several people in to look at it, to make suggestions and to give quotations, and in the end we chose de Viell’s. We did this for two reasons: firstly, they would do the whole job, thus meaning that we did not have to try to project manage different contractors. Kitchen-fitting, bathroom revamping, creation of new bookcases, wardrobes, living room storage, were all available through the one contractor, which made life so much simpler.

Secondly, we liked all their suggestions, the options they gave us, and the way the work was planned out – and all done in less than 4 weeks, which even now seems pretty remarkable. We would change virtually nothing after several years of living here.

When a problem with some materials deteriorating after several years cropped up, we were treated seriously, and the problem fully resolved to our satisfaction.
